October 2016 Southern California morning traffic, hmmm. I had this brilliant idea I’ll race my husband to his place of employment. Who will win? The family van and the freeway vs me pedaling my little solar power assist, ELF/bike named Shelby and side streets. The race will cover approximately 8+ miles during the morning rush hour.… Continue reading The Race is On

What was I thinking?
October 2017 I just wanted to grab breakfast at a local eatery and run a few errands. What happened was I spent the day talking to myself while pedaling. The stuff I say to myself sometimes is just a kick. Either I’m crazy or I’m really funny. At least I amuse easily. The bulk of… Continue reading What was I thinking?
Where has the time gone?
We’ve been pedaling but there’s been little time to post with the remodeling job on the house that we’re doing. I’ll just lump a bunch of outings all together, starting in July 2023 and working backwards The early morning beach pedal on the recumbents. It may have been early but it was already hot and… Continue reading Where has the time gone?
Pedaling San Diego
It’s been a while since Lucky and Shelby have been to the waterfront. It started out as a foggy morning, but it ended up as a blustery and cool day. She is trying… Continue reading WOMEN’S (BIKE) HISTORY: 3 DAYS, 5 WOMEN, 250 MILES
Staying Connected in a Covid19 World
What a strange world we live in right now with Covid19. Follow along as a text message travels thousands of miles, but really only needed to go 100ft. Tonight, I received a text message from my daughter, who lives ten miles away across town. It was a forwarded message from my neighbor next door. Normally,… Continue reading Staying Connected in a Covid19 World
