They turned the protected bike lane into a street fair? Are they crazy?

I normally rant and rave about the bike lanes in Big Bear Lake, California, but not today. This is the letter I wrote to them this morning. Everyone and City council, I was really looking forward to attending Moonridge Monday, but I was detained down the hill. I would have ridden my bike to the… Continue reading They turned the protected bike lane into a street fair? Are they crazy?

Advocate for better!

I know this is a bike site so let’s all advocate and support the building of safe bike and mobility lanes. But if that’s not your cup of tea here’s a simple cause to get behind. I’ll explain, why I will not run to catch a bus or train, ever again. Nor will I ever… Continue reading Advocate for better!

It was like pedaling with the brakes on. The wind was intense. That’s when we saw the slight bit of smoke about a mile or 2 away.… Continue reading Our Thanksgiving morning pedal.

Summer heat!

I just “pedaled” (not cruised) my normal morning 10 miles on my E-trike/ELF. 80*by 8am. I’m exhausted!Drivers kept honking at me. People, I can’t go any faster there are cars in front of me. I’m the one who’s hot. Why are you people so grumpy in your car with AC.

Some days ya just gotta cruise.

It was the first day of summer. Not too hot and not too cold. Enjoy this six minutes of scenery and the sites in San Diego Recorded on a dashcam powered by a small cell power charging battery. it’s not fancy but it works great and for the price it’s fantastic. I’ll refine the holder… Continue reading Some days ya just gotta cruise.
